Miss Universe Thailand 2020 Amanda Obdam has arrived in her country after the 69th Miss Universe competition in Miami, Florida.
She is currently completing her mandatory hotel quarantine.
While in quarantine, she decided to upload a vlog on her Youtube account answering fan questions.
One of the questions asked was the story behind her Sherri Hill opening dress.
Did she choose the opening dress by herself?
"I did," Obdam said in the video.
"I chose it by myself. There were so many different designs, so many different colors. But I knew that I really want it bright pink because it such a bright vibrant color and I love pink. So that's what I went with."

"And also I had to choose a design and everyone was so patient. They were so kind. They would tell me you know if I tried on a dress and didn't like it they say 'Oh it's okay Miss Thailand. Go look some more. There's more design over there or here some nice one. Go try it on'. And they gave us, they divide us in different groups. We had about an hour each to go down, choose an outfit and to take videos with it," she added.
Amanda is one of the favorites to win the Miss Universe crown. She reached until Top 10.
Andrea Meza of Mexico is crowned Miss Universe at the conclusion of the 69th Miss Universe competition.
