Two-time Bb. Pilipinas candidate Alexandra Faith Garcia has been appointed as Miss Aura Philippines 2021 and will represent the country to the Miss Aura International 2021 pageant that will be held in Turkey this September.
This is the first time that the Philippines is joining the said international pageant. Establish in 2006, the contest was formally known as Miss Kremer International.
The formal crowning and sashing ceremony was held on Friday, July 30 at AMRAK Restaurant in Eugenio Lopez Drive, Quezon City.
Considered as pageant veteran, Faith has been joining pageants since 2012. She joined Miss Silka Philippines 2013, Mutya ng Pilipinas 2014, Reyna ng Aliwan 2015 and Bb. Pilipinas 2016 and 2020/2021 editions.
With these experiences, Faith hopes to bring the first Miss Aura International crown to the Philippines.

"I have the experiences already. I know what to expect in terms of, for example, it's a long gown competition I know what to do. If it's a swimsuit competition, or a talent competition, I already know what to do," Faith said during the press interview.
"I still need more planning because it's a different pageant right now, it's an international pageant. I'm really excited and really looking forward to work with the designers that I will use for the international pageant," she added.
The Miss Aura International Philippines Organization initially planned to hold a national pageant but due to time constraint and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, they decided to held a special screening.
They ultimately voted for Alexandra Faith Garcia as she possessed the 4Bs qualifications they are looking for - Beauty, Behavior, Brain and Body.

The 16th edition of Miss Aura International has been scheduled to take place from September 20 to October 5, 2021 at Rixos Sungate Resorts, Antalya City, Turkey.
More than 40 countries and territories are expected to compete for the crown.
Faith can't contain her excitement for the upcoming international pageant. She is looking forward to meet her co-candidates.
"I'm really excited to be with you girls and to share whatever we have in our culture and tradition. I really want it to show to the world specially to the girls," Faith's message to her co-candidates.
Miss Aura International Philippines Organization is owned by Katniss Griffiths (CEO/National Director). Other members are Jovita C. Laureola (Managing Director), Ferdinand Abejon (Over-all Pageant Coordinator) and Kenley Filarca (Multimedia Director).
