Carousel Productions has successfully staged its virtual coronation of Miss Philippines Earth pageant two years in a row.
Naelah Alshorbaji representing Parañaque City bested 65 other candidates during the virtual coronation on Sunday, August 8 broadcasted via Kapamilya Channel.
According to her Miss Philippines Earth bio, she was living in Syria when the Civil War started when she was 11 years old. She then moved to the Philippines and has been her home ever since.
The professional model advocates in reducing plastic waste by turning it into usable products.
She will represent the country in Miss Earth 2021 pageant later this year.
