To ensure safety of the delegates and production staff, Miss Earth 2021 goes virtual on November 21

Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Marie Coffey

For two years in a row, Miss Earth pageant will be held virtually again this year.

In the latest communication sent to all National Directors, Carousel Production announced that the pageant will push through online.

"In keeping with our environment cause, the management had decided to go for another virtual pageant this year. With the ongoing progression of the virus, we do not think that it will ease down any time soon and as we mentioned before, it will not stop us from moving forward with our campaign," wrote Carousel Productions.

The organizer of the pageant added that they will prioritize the safety of delegates and the staff.

“The safety of the delegates, the production staff, and the public is still paramount for the organization, and will not, in any way, put anyone involved with the event at risk."

The tentative date of the finals is November 21.

The leaked communication has been posted on Facebook through pageant page India's Next International Beauty Queen on Thursday, September 9.
