Taylor Swift look-alike joins Miss Earth 2022

Many pageant fans have noticed that Miss Earth Australia 2022 Sheridan Mortlock has resemblance to the Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter, Taylor Swift. Truly enough, the media who attended her solo press conference today, November 4 at Luxent Hotel agreed that Morlock really looks like Taylor Swift.

Mortlock revealed in the press conference that she took this as an advantage to promote her chosen Fauna, the swift parrot.

"I did pick swift parrot as my fauna and this was on purpose due to my resemblance to Taylor Swift. Really, yes, because of that," she said.

"But that is not the only reason. The main reason is that they are very critically endangered. There are about 750 left. There are no sort of big government plans to help them and they could become extinct within the next 10 years. The timing is crucial," she added.

Also in attendance at the press conference are Promedia Executives, Paul Izon Reyes and Jam Aquino. Sheridan is managed and trained by Promedia.

The 22 year-old model is double degree students of International Relations and Politics. After finishing her degrees, she plans to go into politics. As a matter of fact, she hopes to be a Prime Minister of Australia someday.

"Ten years from now, hopefully, I'll be Prime Minister of Australia. I want to enact excellent environmental legislations that Australia is on track, meaning all that international legislations and hopefully sort of influence other countries to do the same," she said.

Aiming for Australia's first Miss Earth crown, her environmental advocacy is called A.C.E, which stands for Action, Care, Education.
