It's official and no further confirmation is needed. Miss Earth 2021 pageant is going to be virtual, the second year for Carousel Productions.

Miss Earth posted on social media its 'Getting to Know You' series featuring some of this year's delegates.

For the first episode, Miss Earth Water-2020 and Philippine pride Roxie Baeyens will interview the eco-warriors from Bulgaria (Yuliia Pavlikova), Cuba (Cynthia Linnet Lau), Malaysia (Nisha Thayananthan) and Portugal (Gabriella Rodriguez) on September 20, 8PM Philippine time. It will be live streamed via Facebook and Youtube.

According to leaked communication sent to all National Directors, Carousel Productions announced that the pageant will push through online.

"In keeping with our environment cause, the management had decided to go for another virtual pageant this year. With the ongoing progression of the virus, we do not think that it will ease down any time soon and as we mentioned before, it will not stop us from moving forward with our campaign," wrote Carousel Productions.

The organizer of the pageant added that they will prioritize the safety of delegates and the staff.

“The safety of the delegates, the production staff, and the public is still paramount for the organization, and will not, in any way, put anyone involved with the event at risk."

According to Miss Earth's official Instagram bio, the virtual finals is on November 21.
